How can I integrate Indy with Qonto?

  • Updated

Qonto and Indy offer several integration methods for retrieving your data. Depending on your setup, you can automatically synchronize bank transactions and supporting documents or manually export invoices and transactions.

☝️ Qonto is an Authorized Platform (PA): this notably allows you to automatically retrieve purchase invoices within the platform, without having to download them manually.

☝️ If you are an Accountant, you must have Accountant access to access your clients' files via the Espace Qontable. If not, ask your clients to invite you as an Accountant on their account. The Qonto Basic plan does not allow this invitation.

How can I retrieve invoices in Indy?

The Qonto → Indy integration allows automatic retrieval of transactions and their supporting documents from Qonto.

The setup is done entirely from your Indy space in a few simple steps:

  1. From your Indy space, go to the section dedicated to bank connection
  2. Select Qonto from the list of available banks
  3. Enter your Qonto credentials (email address and password)
  4. You will be redirected to Qonto to confirm and authorize synchronization

Once the connection is validated, data synchronization starts automatically.

Manual invoice export

  • Qonto Client (regardless of your plan):
    1. Go to the Purchases section (supplier invoices) or Sales (customer invoices)
    2. Click on Export at the top right
    3. Choose the desired period and download the file
  • Accountant (via Espace Qontable):
    1. Select the desired file from the list on the left
    2. Click on Download invoices (suppliers) or Export customer invoices
    3. Choose the desired period and download the file

⚠️ Note: the desired period corresponds to the invoice import date in Qonto and not the invoice date.

You can use export by file of accounting entries (purchases, sales, expense reports, bank) and their attachments as an alternative to exporting invoices and bank transactions.

  • Accountants: access the client file via the Espace Qontable and follow the same procedure

Go to the Ready to Export tab in the Accounting menu of the Qonto file, click Export, and select the appropriate format from the dropdown list.

For more information on manual export of entries, see: How can I manually export my accounting entries from the Espace Qontable?
