How can I integrate Tiime with Qonto?

  • Updated

Qonto and Tiime offer several integration methods for retrieving your accounting data. Depending on your setup, you can automatically synchronize bank transactions and receipts, or manually export purchase and sales invoices as well as accounting entry files.

☝️ Qonto is an Authorized Platform (PA): this notably allows you to automatically retrieve purchase invoices in the workspace without having to download them manually.

☝️ If you are an Accountant, you must have Accountant access to access your clients’ files via the Espace Qontable. If you do not have this, ask your clients to invite you as an Accountant on their account. The Qonto Basic plan does not allow this invitation.

How can I retrieve invoices in Tiime?

The Qonto → Tiime integration allows automatic retrieval of bank transactions and their associated receipts.

Connecting from the Tiime web application is done in a few steps:

  1. From your Tiime workspace, go to the Add a bank account tab
  2. Click on Link an account
  3. Select Qonto from the list of available banks
  4. Enter your Qonto username and password

Your Qonto account is now connected and synchronization starts automatically. The integration transmits two types of data:

  • Transactions: all your bank movements (income and expenses) are continuously synchronized
  • Receipts: attachments associated with your transactions (receipts, invoices) are retrieved and linked to the corresponding operations in Tiime

Manual invoice export

  • Qonto Client (regardless of your plan):
    1. Go to the Purchases section (supplier invoices) or Sales (customer invoices)
    2. Click on Export at the top right
    3. Choose the desired period and download the file
  • Accountant (via the Espace Qontable):
    1. Select the desired file from the list on the left
    2. Click on Download invoices (suppliers) or Export customer invoices
    3. Choose the desired period and download the file

⚠️ Note: the desired period corresponds to the invoice import date in Qonto and not the invoice date.

How can I export my accounting entries to Tiime?

You can use export by accounting entry file (purchases, sales, expense reports, bank) and their attachments as an alternative to automatic synchronization of invoices and transactions.

Access conditions:

  • Qonto Clients subscribed to the Business plan or higher: access Qonto pre-accounting to generate entry files — see the article How do I do my pre-accounting with Qonto?
  • Accountants: access the client file via the Espace Qontable and follow the same procedure

Go to the Ready to export tab in the Accounting menu of the file, click on Export and select the Tiime format from the dropdown list.

For more information on manual entry export, see: How can I manually export my accounting entries from the Espace Qontable?
