How to migrate your invoicing to Qonto?

  • Updated

Migrating your invoicing to Qonto is now easier than ever! Whether you need to import your clients, products and services, or past invoices, we have developed solutions to ensure a smooth transition.

This guide explains how to manually or automatically import your data into Qonto. This is available for every pricing plans.

How does the import process work?

Clients

You can import your client list either by:

  1. Uploading a file in CSV, XLSX, or XLS format (up to 5 MB), or
  2. Connecting an invoicing integration for automated import. It is a one-time migration, not a synchronization. You can perform the migration multiple times; however, it is not a real-time sync.

Products and services

Currently, these can only be imported by uploading a file in CSV, XLSX, or XLS format (up to 5 MB).

⚠️ Note: For both processes, we will send you an email confirming whether the import was fully or partially successful, detailing any rows or details that could not be imported.

What if my import is only partially successful?

You will receive an email with details about the rows or fields that could not be imported. You can correct the file and try re-importing the missing data.

Can I import invoices from my current tool?

Yes, but only via one of the supported integrations. If your current invoicing tool isn’t listed, you can manually export your invoices as a file and upload them to Qonto.

Why can’t I automatically retrieve or sync invoices from my current tool?

Regular synchronization is available only for users with the Accounts Receivable (AR) Add-on. If your tool does not support syncing yet, feel free to recommend it in the Integrations and Partnerships section of your app.

Can I download my client or item lists from other tools?

Yes, most invoicing tools support CSV export. The export button is typically found in the same section as the client or item list. You can check their documentation or contact their support for assistance.
