Qonto Facturation is Qonto's free invoicing tool. If you decide it no longer meets your needs, you can request the closure of your account at any time by contacting our support team.
☝️ This article is for Qonto Facturation users only. If you have a standard Qonto account (with a business bank account), refer to How to close my Qonto account? instead.
The standard in-app account closure flow does not apply to Qonto Facturation accounts. Following those steps will not work for your plan.
What do I need to know before closing my account?
Before submitting your closure request, keep the following points in mind:
- Who can request closure: Only the account owner can submit a closure request.
-
The closure is permanent: A closed Qonto Facturation account is permanently
deactivated and cannot be reactivated. - No fees apply: Closing your account is free, the plan has no subscription fees.
-
E-invoicing registratin: When your account is closed, your e-invoicing sub-registration remains linked to Qonto. If you wish to transfer it to another platform, you will need to initiate that transfer separately with your new provider. Our support team can guide you through this step during the closure
process.
How do I request the closure of my Qonto Facturation account?
Account closure must be requested through our customer support team. To submit your request:
- Open the Qonto app or web app and go to Settings.
- Click Close Account, a message will appear asking you to contact our support team.
- Click Contact Support to open the chat.
- Explain that you would like to close your Qonto Facturation account.
- Our team will process your request and confirm the closure by email.
☝️ If you clicked Close Account, were redirected to the chat, and keep being sent back to the same screen, this is a known limitation of the current experience. Reach out directly to our support team through the chat, clearly mention that you are on the Qonto Facturation plan, and an agent will handle your request manually.
What happens after my account is closed?
Once your Qonto Facturation account is closed:
- Your account is permanently deactivated, it cannot be reactivated under any circumstances.
- You will no longer be able to create or send invoices through Qonto Facturation.
- You will retain ongoing access to your invoice history and documents even after closure.
