What You Need to Know for Proper Synchronization with Loop

  • Updated

This article explains how synchronization works between Loop and your Qonto Space, as well as important rules to follow to ensure correct posting of entries. Before getting started, please refer to the main article How can I set up the synchronization of my accounting entries with Sage GE?

Limit on Entry Descriptions

The Cegid Loop API limits entry descriptions to 35 characters. Any description exceeding this limit is automatically truncated when sent from Qonto. Structure your descriptions so that the essential information appears within the first 35 characters.

Limit on Auxiliary Codes

The auxiliary account codes are limited to 17 characters by the Cegid Loop API. Any code exceeding this limit will be truncated when entries are sent from Qonto. Check the length of your auxiliary codes before starting synchronization.

What to Do If All My Entries Are Rejected by Loop?

If you notice mass rejections of entries with the following message: "An error occurred during the JSON import request: The collaborator [identifier] does not have access to the folder [FOLDER_NAME]," this means the Qonto connector is not activated on the concerned folder in Loop.
⚠️ To resolve this issue, in Cegid Loop, go to the folder portfolio, add the "Action" column, then activate the Qonto connector for the concerned folder. If the connector still appears under the old name "Regate by Qonto" in your Loop interface, select it as it appears — this is indeed the Qonto connector.
