To register your company, you'll need to publish a legal notice. Hand this over to Qonto: we take care of everything and you'll receive your proof of publication by email.
What is a legal notice and is it mandatory?
Publishing a legal notice is a mandatory step under French law when creating any company. It officially informs third parties of your company's existence.
Once your request is registered, you'll receive a certificate of publication : the official document you'll need to submit your registration file to the Guichet Unique (INPI) and obtain your Kbis.
What does Qonto do for me?
We use the information from your bylaws to select the right journal and prepare your legal notice. You'll receive your proof of publication with no extra steps on your part.
If any missing or incorrect information is detected, our team will contact you before publication.
Can I publish my legal notice myself? Yes, you can handle this process directly with an approved legal journal in your department.
What information will be published in my notice?
The information is extracted directly from your bylaws and includes:
- The company name
- The legal form
- The registered office address
- The share capital amount
- The name of the director
How long does it take?
Your certificate of publication will be sent to you within 24 business hours of your request (Monday to Friday).
Does my certificate of publication expire?
No, your certificate of publication does not have an expiry date. However, we recommend submitting your registration file as soon as possible after receiving it to avoid any delays in your company creation.
