Of course! When you're abroad, you can make payments with your Qonto Mastercard and withdraw money from any ATM.
Wherever Mastercard is accepted, you'll be able to use your Qonto card. More than 36 million places around the world accept Mastercard, so you can travel as much as you want!
How can I pay abroad?
All Qonto cards are enabled by default for international payments, so no activation is required from our customers. (Please do check that the option payment abroad is enable on your customer space).
However, for security reasons, card usage may be blocked in certain countries listed below. If a payment fails in one of these countries, we won’t be able to unblock it. We therefore recommend planning your trip in advance and bringing an alternative payment method if needed.

FX fees
A foreign exchange commission will apply for card payments made in currencies other than the euro, based on your card type:
•One, Virtual, and Instant Cards: A 2% fee is charged on all non-euro transactions.
•Plus Card: A reduced fee of 1% applies.
•X Card: Non-euro transactions are completely free, with no foreign exchange commission.
These fees are automatically calculated and added to your transaction at the time of payment. For more details, check your card’s terms and conditions.
Cash withdrawal
The billing for cash withdrawal will depend on the card you withdraw cash with:
One card: €2 per withdrawal;
Plus card: 5 withdrawals included per month, €2 per additional withdrawal;
X card: unlimited free withdrawals.
