How do I order my PayPal payment terminal?
Step 1: Create or connect your PayPal account
- Go to the PayPal offer page for Qonto customers
- Open a PayPal account or log in to your existing account
- Follow the instructions to order your terminal
Step 2: Activate your preferential rates The Qonto preferential rates should apply automatically. If they don't:
- Contact PayPal support at support.fr@zettle.com
- Mention that you are a Qonto customer to benefit from the negotiated rates (1.65% commission and terminal at €9 excl. VAT)
Step 3: Receive and set up your terminal
- You will receive your terminal within a few days
- Follow the setup instructions provided with the device
- Setup takes only a few minutes
What are the technical requirements to use PayPal POS?
To use your PayPal payment terminal, you must have:
Internet connection:
- 3G or 4G mobile network, or WiFi connection
Compatible device (for Tap to Pay only):
- iOS: iPhone XS or later models
- Android: Version 8.0 minimum, NFC-compatible, with Google Play Services installed
How do I receive money from my transactions?
Funds from your PayPal transactions are available within minutes in your PayPal wallet. You can then transfer these funds to your Qonto account according to PayPal's standard transfer procedures.
Can I get even better rates?
Yes. If your monthly turnover exceeds €8,000, you can negotiate degressive rates that are even more advantageous.
