How do I submit a confirmation letter to Qonto?

  • Updated

If your auditor or accountant sends you a confirmation letter, Qonto can complete and return it for you. This document confirms your account details, balances, and other banking information required for financial audits.

To process your request, simply send us the letter in PDF format via chat or email. Our team will review, complete, and return the document to you.

Starting March 8, 2026, this service is charged at €65 excluding VAT (€78 including VAT) per request. This fee applies to all circularization letter requests submitted after this date. The service is available to the Owner of the account on all Qonto plans, accessible via 💻 web and 📱 mobile app.

You'll receive the completed circularization letter via email or through the chat, depending on your preference. The document will be signed and stamped by Qonto's authorized representatives.

☝️ Important: Submit your request as early as possible to avoid delays, especially during peak audit periods (typically end of fiscal year).

What documents do I need to provide?

To ensure we can process your circularization letter efficiently, please provide:

  • The circularization letter in PDF format: Make sure the document is complete and clearly legible and must be send by the owner of the account (or at least in copy of the request) or the auditor
  • Your auditor's contact information: This should typically be included in the letter itself
  • Any specific instructions or deadlines: If your auditor requires the response by a particular date, let us know when submitting your request

The letter should include standard information requests such as account balances, account opening dates, authorized signatories, or outstanding loans and credit facilities.

Will I be invoiced for this service?

Yes, starting March 8, 2026, circularization letter requests are subject to a fee:

  • Price: €65 excluding VAT per request (€78 including VAT)
  • Invoicing: The fee will be charged to your Qonto account automatically after the letter is completed
  • Visibility: You can view this charge in your transaction history under service fees

This fee applies to each individual circularization letter processed. If you have multiple companies or your auditor sends multiple letters, each will be charged separately.

What if my auditor sends the letter directly to Qonto?

Some auditors may send circularization letters directly to banks without routing through the client:

  • Same process applies: the standard processing time and fee structure apply
