How long does it take to receive a card ?

  • Updated

We don't quote a fixed number of days because delivery time depends on two things that change with every order: your destination and the carrier used (La Poste or DHL). That's why we show a personalized estimate in your card order status.

How to track your card, step by step?

  1. Once your order is validated, the card is being prepared: no tracking yet.
  2. As soon as it ships, you get a push notification and an email, and the order status shows the tracking number plus a delivery estimate. That's when the countdown starts.
  3. Once you have the card in hand, click "Card received" in the order status: this confirms delivery and closes out tracking. The timeline can be also hidden after a certain number of days; or as soon as you complete a PIN operation

To understand how this estimate is calculated for your country, see When will I receive my card?

What to do if the deadline has passed?

Check your order status first:

  • If it shows "Delivery failed", an agent has confirmed the card couldn't be delivered. You can reorder directly from there, free of charge.
  • If it doesn't show that status but the estimated delivery window has passed, contact us via chat.

đź’ˇ Reordering after a confirmed failed delivery is free. If you report a card as lost yourself (for example, because you misplaced it or before the delivery window has fully elapsed) different conditions may apply.

When will I receive my card?

The estimate shown in your order status isn't a guaranteed delivery date. It's expressed in working days (weekends are excluded), factoring in French public holidays plus those of the destination country. Your card can still arrive before or after the range.

Dom-Tom La Poste 4 to 12
Dom-Tom DHL 4 to 9
Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Austria, Netherlands, Portugal La Poste 3 to 8

đź’ˇ Good to know: why some destinations have no estimate?
For DHL shipments to distant destinations (US, Asia...) delivery can take up to 20 working days according to DHL and real-world times remain too irregular for Qonto to provide a reliable range*.*. In that case, only the tracking number is provided; the DHL website gives a more accurate estimate, since it has visibility into the parcel's actual progress.

⚠️ No tracking and no estimate? This is most likely a sign of a customs hold: the card couldn't be handed over to the carrier yet. An agent will contact you directly with the Chronopost number as soon as it's available, no need to reach out first.

đźšš Good to know for DHL shipments A signature is required on delivery. But you don't have to be present on the proposed date: the link sent by SMS or WhatsApp (DHL's On Demand Delivery service) lets you change the date, the address, or choose a pick-up point.
